Most of the time I ran 150s which most people think are too narrow -- but I like the tighter carving radius, and the narrower hangars give you even less chance of bite with same amount of riser.
Well the Fat Daddy arrived yesterday and I got to check things out a little.
I'm getting wheel bite with R-180's (50*/50*) , 1/2 " riser and 70mm Zigs on stock randal bushings ( have venoms in the mail 85 to 90 duro cones and barrels ) The bite isn't that bad so hopefully these will help carry my 200lbs.
I'll post my bushing test results as soon as I find the no-bite point

Re: Flexdex Fat Daddy Setup
yeah that's why I never guarantee anyone a no-wheelbite setup (unless you build a sky-high table dance platform) there's so much variance -- the weight of the rider and the bushing hardness just for starters.
I weigh only 160-165, so usually 1/2" riser plus my red/yellow stiffish Khiro bushings and 70mm is fine with 180's. if I go with softer bushings like orange / white Khiros, I can easily get wheelbite -- move to narrower 150's, it all goes away. actually, most of the time on that board I run wedged risers-- a thin shock pad and a gradually angled riser, because I like the extra turniness...
and I always remind myself, over time as the bushings slowly get really worn out, as it gets all nice and loose and feeling just "perfect" -- I go BAM down on the ground... looking up at the sky, wondering why why why

I'm going to try some harder bushings. I also have some 1/8" shock risers I could try but I really don't want to jack the board up anymore so I may have to expand the wheel wells if the bushings don't help.

Well part of the problem was that the wheels didn't align with the wheel wells . Thanks to the brain storming session with LBS we have found a solution. I mounted the trucks using the new school holes in the trucks to the old school holes in the board then used the base plate as a pattern to drill new holes to match at the other end of the truck.
Amazingly enough it seems to put the wheels when leaned over in perfect alignment with the wheel wells.
There is still plenty of nose and tail for manuals etc ...
Now I can start playing with the bushings and not feel bad about not utilizing the wheel wells.
I do still get limited bite but I really have to lean it over to do it.

Yes. This board needs to be wheel-welled. At least 1/4" riser.
