I would love to own a T-Board for sh!ts and giggles, but I'm unwilling to fork out the $ for one, I wouldn't ride it a whole lot, and the wife and kids can't jump on one and ride it the way they can the Carveboard/stik. I'd also love to try a Dirtsurfer....
Dirtsurfers have a terrible turing radius. Not at all for carving. However I've gotten mine up to 60mph without leathers, gloves, or a fullface and not been worried. They are unsurpassably stable.
i've been freebording for a few months now and i really enjoy it, however i just recently got to carve on a longboard and found it to be a different experience all together.. looking at LB's now
The RTR 2-W has the same wheel base as the 41" Tierney.
RTR has egg (oval) shaped wheels and Tierney has cylindrical.
Feels like the RTR is more responsive than the T. RTR works well on gentle grades. Feels a little twitchy to me at speed.
RTR feels like it transitions better in carve, smoother. The T feels like its up on an edge in carve to me (like being on the edge of an ice-skate). I suspect the difference here is related to wheel shape.
I have Carver C7s on a Arbor Hybrid that I use for flatland surfing/pumping. I keep it at work during the week, It's a pretty good lunch break workout.

My Hybrids:
(1) Carveboard
(1) CarveStik
(3) Dirtsurfers
(2) MBS Mountainboards (set up as streetcarvers)
(2) T Boards
(1) Monster Inline Board
(1) Outback Mountainboard (set up a little differently)
Have owned or test evaluated several other two wheel inline boards.
Tried the Freebord for a little.
A buddy has a Flexboardz I get to ride.
X-Monster was brought to the USA by a guy from Austria named Hans who I was involved with at one point. He had an inline board and some big plans that never went anywhere. I ended up testing a couple things he had. He wanted me to help him make these things big but really did not have the funding to go where it needed to go. One was a monster inline board that they were riding down the dirt access roads in the ski resorts in Austria. The other thing is a Monster scooter for the same terrain. My son has the scooter and I have whats left of the inline board. I used to ride it down the beach but still prefer the Dirtsurfer.
