what would you guys think about modding rollerskates to make the wheels farther apart and adding small casters so that they were like mini freebords? would that work to make a good skiing feeling?

I think some body's tried that with two freebords, and it diddnt work so well, and i saw a video of someone using a freebord like a skiboard (i think thats what they're called, its like two skis put togeter and you ride it with your feet together going down the hill in the direction you would with skis). That video was kinda cool, but i dunno

two little freebord for your feet, might work, might not..
there is a guy in Berkeley that ride roller skates downhill, high speed check slides, he is very fast.
I am not sure what w1000w was refering to in that thread, didn't see anything like that..
