For me, the dirtsurfer is about speed and acceleration down the line -- off-road that is. I hear skateboards have a lot of style off-road.

If I really want to "carve" steep pavement, I ride a modified mountainboard with street slicks. Don't have to put up with that nasty "road noise" on those tiny little, solid skateboard wheels. Mountainboards can go off-road too.

But you're right skateboards are much more stylish when you're jumping over a flower pot or a bench or flipping the board around in the air.

Save the words I already know, "I'm a wannabe loser, with no style, that sucks."

Every time I see a dirtsurfer I want to ride one!! They are so expensive though.

Oh yeah, tight video. I think it's pretty tight when they get air, I mean it's just as cool as when snowboarders get air. I think it's just a matter of time until people are doing really cool tricks with the dirtsurfer.

I can't tell if pwdales is a troll or just a jerk. Definitely one or the other.

Dirtsurfer looks like a blast to me! Wish there was somebody with a Demo board nearby, but I don't think there is. (Redding, CA- just in case!)

Nice ditch, but the boards you be rockin' aren't really my style. I live in Albuquerque, and I was wondering if you hit up any other ditches? I live on the west side, and theres nothing here, and I've been looking around for some better spots to carve.

I agree. Buying any kind of board is about the ride, not about how much you can show off.
