Default MountainBoard Session / Tahoe Nat'l Forest

DIRTHEADS are going to Union Flat campground and mountainboard the surrounding trails, this Friday 6/6/08, near Downieville. Saturday we will take the 11:00 AM shuttle to the 14 mile Downieville Downhill Mountain Bike run. More mountainboard near the campsite, for those of us with enough energy. Should be a fun weekend, go to Dirtheads mountainboarding for more details (events page). I'm also bringing along a Longboard.

Wanted to give a little follow-up to the DIRTHEADS session:
Camping was great, right on the Yuma river. Fire road was located directly acroos the highway from the campground. We went 4 miles up the dirt road (single lane) and had a really fun ride. Next year we're going further up the road (someone told us it was 11 miles to the top). Next years Downieville Sessions will be even more EPIC!

The Tahoe area is beautiful. Just wish it wasn't so far away.
