How do you stop on a flowboard?

Looking at the range of ways I know you can slow it down carving, but how about a sudden stop, along the lines of say a car pulling infront of you?

i would slide if i were you cause those wheels are chalky. And how are you going fast on one of those they have horrible bearings and wheels

I agree. Jump off the board. Slide to a stop on your feet.

This is dangerous though. If you jump off, you will inevitably be moving faster than the flowboard. You could be seriously injured when struck from behind by the slower moving flowboard.

Helpful and amusing... The hills here are damn steep, so you could sit on brick and be in with a chance of some mph,

So I'll slide it me thinks, get some harder wheels too...

Carve up the hill. Those things can make uber sharp turns. Just turn it back up the hill. You shouldn't be bombing that fast on that thing anyway. It's only rated to 15mph max by the company that builds it.

I do like the look of dem freebords.

to properly stop on a flowboard, what i did was:

tape bubble wrap on the ends, and around the wheels
put it into an oblong cardboard box
post it on ebay
and ship it
then bought a longboard
