Iv'e been thinking on getting a flowboard. And i'm just wondering if that is a good idea. The reason i want one is because I love carving and not that i don't like my longboard its just I want to take carving to the next level. so think i should get one?

it is all about what you like,if you think you will enjoy it and it will give you the adrenalin rush needed then go for it

Yeah...

You know what the hardest part of flowboarding is?
Trying to get someone to buy your used flowboard.

i've got a pair of DCS (flowboard) trucks that you could buy off me. I never used 'em; bought them with the intention, but never got a deck for it.

One of my friends has a flowboard, or as he describes it a "Slow Board." He was telling me how it drags along even on a downhill rather than gliding down the hill. My only experience with flowboards was riding one in Costco, which felt awkward...not something you'd want for flatland.

Flowboard sucks ass. I had the blue graphics 36" one, slow as hell, the transitions were so mechanical and clunky, STAY AWAY!

Well i guess with all the negative things about flowboards and i also found a video on it and it looked pretty gay. So how about a freebord. I heard they are a lot like snowboarding and faster than the flowboard. And maybe a ripstck i have some experience with them but they just look to fruity.

Don't bother with the flowboard. Freeboards are pretty cool until you catch and faceplant.

Ripstiks, good for exercise lol. Pretty slow though so forget about using them for getting anywhere really IMO
