thinking about buying 4 DCS trucks and making a bob-sled. sounds nifty. that would be a ride! being able to drift up pipes! with friends too!
not sure this is a longboard hybrid though, but a fun idea none the less. what do you guys think? im pretty handy with my hands and can make the bob-sled its self. probably would need a roll cage of some sort or a break. otherwise how do u get out of a bob-sled shooting down a pipe?
I have designed but not assembled my own version of a one-man, all terrain bob-sled. Nothing like your idea.
Are you going to place them in one row down the middle, one behind the other? Or are you going to place them 2 side-by-side. Two side-by-side will kill the ability to lean turn.
Sounds like a fun project. I think a street bob-sled could be a blast to ride. If they can have street luges, certainly we can have street bob-sleds.
Dude, that would actually be an efficient mode of transportation. With that sort of center-of-gravity, and some bones ceramics, you would just COAST. Uphill would blow though.

Re: possible bob-sled
you could definitely do it, if you had kinda a lott buttboard shape...leave the back squared off, to support the DCS truck on the back, and put one at the very front of the board...and put a fairing on the front maybe?

2 side by side. not right next to each other spaced a little bit at a 5 and 7 possition (clock incase your confused), on the font (not very front) and 2 more the same way on the back.
im starting on the wheels soon. ive started the body of the sled!
