San Diego Speed 32" Mountain skateboard long board NEW - eBay (item 190243249899 end time Sep-08-08 07:42:06 PDT)

thought this might be a cheap way to try out a mt board... thoughts?

- Veriflex from the 80's, stock everything. .

- Girl popsicle, one destructo and one thunder, blank wheels and ATM bearings.

- Sims Eric Nash, indy stage 6 159's, 62mm 95a 'bullets' from the 80's.

- Moose blank top mount cruiser, 9 X 40 with core trucks and 75a / 62mm vision wheels (also from the 80's..)

- Earthwing Corchia with indy 169's and (now flatspotted) slide A's/ bones.

Deck looks a little thin. May not hold up long off-road.

Definitely inexepensive. You know what they say -- you get what you pay for.

If you have $75 to burn go for it. But, I picked up an older model MBS Jeep renegade for $79 on ebay. An old Rennegade in good condition will probably hold up a lot longer.

However, both of these boards use skateboard truck systems. Real performance costs more in the form of "channel trucks."

This looks like a nicely priced intro board for a small rider. It is similar to the board my 5 year old rides.
