Default whats a good first mountain board

so i used search and couldn't really come up with anything i was happy with, basically i am wondering whats a good first mountain board? i am pretty tall at 6foot 5 and weigh about 180 will that be a factor in which board i should go with?

Looking for something i can take down some grassy hills, mountain paths, and some jumps... (nothing huge to begin with)

i know there is a couple mountain boarders here and was wondering if a few of you could chime in for advice, thanks in advance

My choice for you on an entry level mountainboard, based on your heighth and weight, would be the MBS Core 95. Its around $300, but you get alot for that price. MBS makes quality boards. The deck on the Core 95 should fit your needs. This board comes with good components, and you can also upgrade trucks, hubs, ect.. in the future, if you wish to. I wouldn't go with the Atom models because for alittle under $200, you get a set-up that won't last you as long, and probably won't meet your performance needs in the near future. The Core series is a mid-level board that should get you hooked on all the fun that mountainboarding offers. Post what decision you make and how your mountainboard experience goes.

I bought a $40 board at Toys R Us, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone over the age of 4.

No offense TNT. Solid wheels just ain't the same.

    Pneumatic wheels are the ticket.

Once you've ridden channel trucks floating on air, you'll never go back.
