    i saw the surfing vid that had that hydro on the surf board. the big wave surfing was epic. the hydrofoils themselves are expensive as hell.

    Theres a crazy hydrofoil scooter I saw a while back that you hop up and down on to pump and propel. They said it gets up to 15mph and it looked like a lot of fun.

    It lifts the bulky hull off off the water, lessoning the drag in the water(which is far greater than air)Allowing higher speeds from the same energy . It smooths the ride, keeping surface disturbances(chop) isolated from effecting the ride.

    Leaves hardly any wake..plus they're cool!!!!
