need help tweaking dropped setup

Hey guys i have a landyachtz 9two5 and i need help with bushings. i like to freeride but my friend gave me some bushings that are now worn out and i need some new ones. My setup is bear 852's and hesher snowballs. i like to be able to do free riding and some light dh (less than 30mph). my old bushings were great! they were springy and were easy to turn into a slide (almost loose feeling) but were stable and seemed to have a nice lively feel when carving/ coming out of a slide. i am basicically looking for new bushings similar to the ones i explained. I weigh 200 lbs if anyone would help thatd be great!

You probably had the stock bear 852 bushings. Some similiar would be Bear JimZ barrel Bushings 82a. I can't seem to find some like it anywhere, but look at here for some new bushings:-

Ok so i am going to get some venom barrels and i want help deciding on some. It will be freeride/small dh. I am 190 (i re weighed myself) and should i get reg or shr bushings. Thanks in advance!

love my 86a and 83a double barrel SHR venoms, great for freeriding im 150 though so maybe step it up a duro or 2

For a drop-through or drop deck board, you might want to consider going a little softer than usual since you'll have a little less leverage than a top mount board.

Those bears sound like they come with pretty soft bushings though - if those were stock bushings and 82a. That will at least give you a point of reference, if you liked them or if they were too hard or too soft for you.

They are blaCk barrels. I am not with my board at the moment.

They may be randal barrels if they have rounded edges on them. For venom barrels I am inclined to recomend 87a(Purple) barrels and or 85a(Yellow) barrels(Either the same all around or a mix 87a bottom 85a on top.) Also if you want to try a bunch of bushings I also recomend looking at riptide bushings also.

I don't think venoms work with the 852s , I have tried them and they do not seat in the truck properly.

I'm running a venom barrel board side and a venom cone road side on mine, they work just dandy.

SHRs aren't much better than standard venoms but if you get shr go a duro or 2 higher.

Hello everyone, this thread is hella old. I have already found my favorite bushing setup which is the blood orange bushings that come on calibers and gunmetals. I thank you for all your help.

Ps. I was enjoying pastel blue shr barrels until i switched to the bloods.
