I just explained this a couple posts up. y u no read? plus you can always top mount a drop through...

Most decks are around a 1/2" thick, so I think that is where the "any drop 1/2" or less is a micro drop" notion came from.

Don't know much about the converters, but the classics are good enough to make me trust that the company knows their ****, so i would trust and wheel descriptions you find on their site. I personally want to try out the ism!
Decided to try out Raceform centersets... they are easier for my shop to order and the owner wants me to ride them and test them so he knows whether to stock them or not... Cults can wait til later in the summer once I core my Hawgs and Raceforms because they come from a distributor my shop doesn't use...

Re: Show me your MICRO-DROPS!
it could start delamming, just get some long-drying epoxy or wood glue and soak it in that, grab a clamp and press the nose back together AFTER you let it soak in for a few minutes. it happens all the time to me and this always fixes it for me. good luck bro

I really like them! They grip well for a freeride wheel, and the slide is a hard-to-explain mildly-icey slide. I haven't rode too many real "icey" wheels, all I can compare them to are generally pretty soft, buttery wheels and they are much icier than any of them. It's still, VERY controllable though. I find it hard to put it into words, but I have a feeling these (PUN) wheels are going to really help me improve my freeride capabilities. They make controlling my slides, MUCH easier. Anything else you need to know about them can be found anywhere. They're going to last forever, and wear very well!
And, they look SO darn pretty.

It looks like you are about to flatspot them... If that doesn't develop any bigger I might be convinced, but not necessarily sold on them

Please, please, please don't take that one shot throw you off of these (PUN) wheels. I'm still progressing and definitely got all 90 degrees in that first session. That's all it's from. Anyone with any knowledge about wearing wheels/skills will have no problem with them.

Thank you! I enjoy it, VERY much. I haven't felt this comfortable on any setup so far. It feels fantastic!

Word. Yeah they don't seem like my thing even so because sometimes I get in a 90* kind of mood where flatspots just happen. Haven't recently but I'm not taking the chance with $70 wheels

Re: Show me your MICRO-DROPS!
Is my Lambchop a micro drop? IIRC the drop is .625 and the deck looks about 5/8" thick which would put it in a gray area as far as the accepted definition goes

I'll throw up some pron when I get back from court, I'm so stoked on that Lamby right now. I just need to stop blowing so much money on booze every day so I can throw some TKP's on it for the lower speed stuff that comprises most of my skating

How heavy are you? I'm about 120, and I have 88a/83a wfb fatcones on my gunmetals, but its a bit too soft. I'm thinking of going for some amish washers and 93a wfb's, wdyt? Fatcones or barrels?
