Grombiz Special Ops vs Rayne Demon Seed-Dee-Lite

Hey I was curious what board I should get. I really like the way the Grombiz looks and works. The new trucks are amazing is what I heard. But the Rayne Dee-Lite is a good DH board. And I want to get into DHing more. What do you guys think??? Also if you think i should get the Demon Seed Dee-Lite what should I put on it?? Trucks, bushing ext.

I wouldnt start downhill with a 450 dollar deck, a regular demonseed would be better. Im not sure about the grombiz though.

get the Black op trucks and then get a demonseed and topmount that mofo,

or a nemesis.

well it depends on how much you are willing to spend..

I say get precision trucks with the Dee-Lite nemesis if you can afford them. Kookys and Kahalani are some trucks to look into. If you looking to spend less, Randal R2 180s, Randal DH and paris(with different bushings) are good trucks.

grombiz trucks will allow you to make your board incredibly versitile. if your not DH that afternoon... make it a cruiser! a freeride board! its just so damn versatile!

those on a nemesis would be awesome!

Just get a regular demonseed... theres no reason to have a dee-lite for a first DH deck, especially if you are 13... Same with precision trucks, like somebody else suggested.

demonseed + randals would do you fine.

grombiz seems cool, but Ive never even touched one.

Ok....well im sorta thinking like why not spend extra for a hella nice board when i will buy when eventully any way. But I also get learning DH may include not may will include crashing so don't want a amazing board getting ruiened!

dude you are constantly recommending expensive unnecessary #### that you probably havent even ridden. stop suggesting your desires to other people who dont need them...

There is nothing wrong with wood boards, and spending $600 on a complete for your first DH board that will get messed up, is ridiculous.

IMO, just get a nice wood deck and some randals. Get some bushings to mess with, and you will have yourself a nice dialed in setup.

if you're 13, you are proabably waaaay too small for a d-seed. get a nemesis instead, and deelite if you must (but i wouldnt recommend it) and just make it a drop thru if you want.

I've tried the grombiz, and i didn't like them. if you're gonna get a drop thru, dropped platform deck, then get randals, paris, or on the precision side, jimz or talons are the only trucks tall enough to be double dropped.

I would say, get a hellcat on paris or randals and you'll be set. find out more of what you want in DH (i.e. grip or drift) until you go precision/carbon fiber. and your board WILL take a beating when you're learning.

d-dub im hella small im the 2nd smallest 13 year old at my school......under 90 pounds....i may just get like a demonseed wood.

i'm 6 ft. 160 lbs. and the d-seed is too big for me even. you'll take up only 1/2 of its platform. get a nemesis instead.

Dseeds are huge. Check out the nemesis, landyachtz drop wedge, and the switch.

Okay I shall..... Would the evo also be way huge?? And if I did get the Evo should i just buy board and buy trucks ext or should i buy a complete?

Im not to sure because im thinking about what everybody else is saying....why not just get some ok trucks that I can thrash and I won't care. Im not sure if i wanna drop $160 on them when I could get some ok DH trucks for cheap.
