Default Sayshun Polar or Landyacht Switch?

My boards soon to face death through splitting venners. I like to go fast but I also like to free ride and was wondering is any one had some suggestions. Any even if its not these two boards. Thanks.

Depends. Drop decks and drop throughs have a different feel in turning. I prefer the Landy just because of how it turns and the much gnar-er concave.

Free Riding i think you might want a Chinook, its got the same feel as a switch but with its lowered front it makes for easier pushing and its basically an extremely versatile board you can set it up to do just about anything.

Switch is extremely versatile (more so than the chinook imo) because you can set it up to do just about anything. It's symmetrical. The Chinook has wedging....

So...what does this make the Switch? It's a lowered deck as well, and both ends are flat, which means you can slap which ever baseplate angles on it that you want. The Chinook has the wedged nose....

Get the polar! you will not regret it. I have mine and i absolutly love it. Symetrical, the concave really locks you in. Its setup on stimulus and is a dream to slide. The wheel wells are really big and let you run really loose/divey trucks, making it great for sliding. And how can you beat the graffic?

    to the OP:

It really just boils down to if you like dropped decks or drop-through decks.

    choose one.

My current board has a rake like the chinook only much steeper. Its pain full to push with a rake like it.

Get the Polar, just so you can say you have one.

Sayshun seems to make quality decks.

Be a good person and get one and give us some feedback.

To be fair, the Switch is also a very nice board.

I just skate better on a switch than any of my own boards, so i'd go for that one.

Well what I should have included in my last post is that due to the chinook's shape; when sliding it gives it a sort of pivot feel making slides really nice, I don't remember him saying he didn't want a board with a wedged nose or a board with a non symmetrical shape.Although you're right about the board's angled nose. But I've seen people use it for downhill it seems to workout for them.

They will all work just fine.

Put some Durians on any of them and they will slide smooth all day.
