Longboard Skateboard Reviews and ComparisonsWant to review a longboard, decide what you think about deck or get someones opinion on a board you are looking to buy.
i've got some 35*randal DH trucks that i haven't used yet,should i use those,i would get a 50* baseplate for the front.
I'd go 35* front and back. At least try it before shelling out more money. It's a whole new debate, the 50 / 35 truck thing.
I run 35 / 35 and it suits my style, and I like it.
If you go for a lower angle rear, just remember a lower angle truck will turn with less pressure than a higher angle, so to compensate you might want to run a harder bushing combination.
But like I said, try what you have first, and have fun, don't get lost in the search for the perfect set up like I did. It's a dark foreboding lonely place.

um.... what?
a lower angle plate will turn less than a higher degree plate regardless of how much force is applied.
the angle affects the lean:turn ratio
lower degree - more lean than turn
higher degree - more turn per lean
