I'd NEVER sport the Ubuntu logo... I hate Ubuntu. It's the most noob distro ever... Even the stock kernel options suck. The disabled root by default... That's because they give it to users that don't know what they are doing and end up accidentally borking up their system through ad-hockery and failure to review before hitting return.
Funny Linux story. This fat chick (not my type of fatty) started arguing about what distribution of Linux was better and she didn't even know what kernel version she was using... She didn't even know how to check a kernel version... (uname -r) "Anyone who is anyone uses Ubuntu!" I went off on that statement. She didn't even know where Linus Torvalds was when he created the first source code of Linux...
First 5 minutes I was using Ubuntu. I tried to install software by "tar xvfj work ~/work && cd ~/work && ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-shared && make && make install" and the guys on Freenodes #Ubuntu had the nerve to call me a noob... Auto-dependencies are nice but make users lazy. I never cared for Debian nor it's noob affiliated and overly bloated predecessor, Ubuntu.
Now, Slackware is where it's at. Check out my default workstation!
I'd sport the Slackware logo any day of the week... though the logo isn't as flashy as others...
FYI: I haven't used owned a Windows machine since WinME was new.
