Default Party with the BIG MAC...

Here she is, Night Skateboard's latest masterpiece! 38x10.

I pulled up to my house today and this bad boy was leaning against my house. When I opened the box I couldn't have been happier with the way this board turned out. It first caught my eyes with the sweet paint job and after I got a chance to stand on it, I fell in love with the concave and shape of the board. Once it was setup I was able to take it for a spin and get initial impressions. Again could not have been happier. The versatility of this board is incredible. It has all the characteristics of a rad top mount but because of the shape and concave, standers and other slides are a breeze. On top of this its light, thin and because of the rad wheel wells and cutouts, could easily accomdate 76mm wheels and probably bigger. A few months ago this was just an idea that Everett form Night and I had begun to come up with. Now its one of the sickest top mounts I have ever ridden. I encourage you all to check out some other night skateboards and if your interested contact either myself or Everett. His attention to detail and obvious love for board building makes me think that Night Skateboards will be sticking around. Thanks for reading. Enjoy.

This board looks McNasty for sure. I'm thinking we're going to see more and more symmetrical topmounts in the near future. This deck looks super functional, not to mention low. The concave looks great too. Shred some sh!t!

Petary- Yeah dude. I was digging my small top mount for a while but I needed symmetry and more concave. Everett considered my needs a made exactly what I was looking for. Definitely a board shape that I would love to see catch on.

Luffy- Yeah ill get you one.... It's INSANE!

Wow that's gnarly, maybe too gnarly for me. I'm so stupidly in love with W though, that's the only thing I would change. Aren't standers on a topmount the bee's knees?

There's something about standers on a top mount that just makes them so much fun. And W did cross my mind but I didnt want to get experimental with a board that I'd be riding non stop. Probably try it out on my next board. Any other questions guys feel free to ask!

yeah man! stoked that you got your own deck! well deserved!

i rode this board breifly today, suuuuuuuch a sick shape, without a doubt the best top mount i have rode (for me at least). concave locks you in so hard, makes flying through turns standup feel so much more comfortable. a well made deck, indeed.

ok, i have a couple noob questions that i have been pondering for quite some time.

    1. why would anyone prefer a topmount for a speedboard? Wouldn't low and stable always be preferred?

    2. particularly in this thread, why are standies better/easier on a topmount. i haven't ridden a drop through long enough to know personally, but again, wouldn't a low drop through be much easier to slide?

    enlightenment plz.

    nice board, btw.
    i enjoy skateboarding.

    1. You are correct. People usually look for a low, stable board but in the end it's all about what you prefer. Once I got passed the tiny sacrifice of stability and height I found the added grip and leverage over your trucks makes it a worthy trade off. When you choose a top mount, drop through or dropped deck your going to gain certain characteristics and your going to lose some. It's all about what your willing to lose for what your going to gain.

    2. There's just something about standers on a top mount that make them feel nice. It might be the added grip therefore more control. It might be the nice carvey feeling you get on a top mount. It's something but again it's all about what you prefer. You'll find that everything comes down to what you prefer.
