because they are a smaller dealer they pretty much always sell at the best price (a plus) however when sites have sales on dervishes fro the same same price the comparison shopper sees the price drop and etc.
anyways I have emailed bryant asking about custom designs etc, seemed like a nice guy quick response.
I would definetly buy from these if you are looking for custom graphics which almost no one offers (esp for free!) since i wasnt I just went for a dervish on sale for 230 (no tax no shipping).
ps. i think BC longboards would explode if they went viral the way original and loaded did, they only have like 2 videos on youtube that I could find, and loaded and original seem to have become so big because of noobies learning about it off youtube.
Epic fail dude... I don't even want to speak my mind about this matter...

Re: In Depth BC Eel Review
Mine is very solid! had a pretty hard shot with a curb and you can hardly tell. And mine is before the new carbon fiber nose or whatever they have now. My only complaint would be the clear grip is wearing and tearing up pretty bad. But thats pretty standard for clear grip right?

Re: In Depth BC Eel Review
Between me and bauer, the BC team is trying to get more videos on youtube and vimeo. Bauer has made some great videos and I feel like my first video came out pretty well. Bauer and I both live in the northeast so we won't be able to make videos with great locations for a couple months but you'll definitely see more from BC in the future.

Re: In Depth BC Eel Review
Whats the flex on the Eel like?! I've been looking at it but i really like a flexy board and I havent found anything thats told me about the flex on it. I'm about 160 so I'm right in the middle of those two flexes but oh well. Please if anyone who's ridden one could tell me about the flex that would be awesome!

Ummm, you might want to look in the section of the review entitled "flex".

Well, I understand that theres two different flex options, but that still doesn't mean much too me. I'm new to all of this so I cannot say I can fully understand all the terms that pertain to flex, etc. However, I saw somewhere the BC Moray be described as "hard as a rock" and I don't know what that could mean for the Eel, especially, because I'd like a fairly flexy board. Would the standard flex on there be described as like none, low, or medium, etc.? Other than the standard flexes it described them being able to "zero in on the flex you want" is that a significant amount? Does that cost a lot more money to do?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Re: In Depth BC Eel Review
Haha you have some haters for friends! Great review, did you include the built in nose and tail guards the Eel has?

Two foot, ten foot.... the funs the same, all I'm looking for is a smile.... and it's riding a board that does it for me, it's not necessarily the size.

The eel has pretty subtle flex because it is a freeride oriented board. So in your terms it would be medium. If you want more flex you should email info@bclongboards.com or look into the swordfish which is flexier and more carving/dancing centered. I wrote a review of that board on the fish also. Hope that helps, thanks.

The new gen Eels are much, much flexier. Comparable to a Dervish.
