Default ITT: You get to sway me to a Christmas gift!

This is one of those threads that is why I registered for these forums. It seems like everyone makes the excuse that it's hard as hell to try anything but Arbor and Sector 9 boards so without knowing just the plain facts it's hard to choose a board in a comparison without hearing some personal experiences.

My goal with this board is to have a light campus cruiser that can handle rough sidewalks/pavement and take on some light hills. I currently have a 42'' KS Scimitar to handle everything else but it's weight and size is starting to take a toll on me to carry around everyday. I'm trying to keep it under 38'' and I also would like a topmount. Other than that I can say that I'm looking for this board to be able to live up to manuals (tail and nose) and shov-it's but really nothing more than that is expected

My choices as of right now I'm looking into:
    A) Original Apex 34''
    B) Comet Ye Old Cosmic Shred 35''
    C) Rayne Timeline
    D) Gravity Logan Cruiser
    E) Gravity Larry Bertlemann
    F) Neversummer Assault
    G) Landyachtz Ripper

I know theres alot of choices still but any of these boards that you might own or have ridden can help me sway an opinion. I'm really looking for something thats going to be stable and can handle dropping off curbs and going up rough pavement with the addition of some tricks.

EDIT: I'm riding on 75 retro big zigs right now and I prob wouldn't want to drop to anything below 69mm.

I'm going to reccommend for the things you're saying, Apex 34" or maybe the Custom 35".

    Holy crap a response!

Yeah I'm really warming up to the apex line. I love how they sport how low and easy to lift the board it is. I'm alittle nervous about making love to original trucks but I think it can be done. I usually keep my trucks loose as hell with any other board.

Still wanting a kicktail though as well.
