Own Dervish. Is Apex 37 much different?

Like the title says is the Apex 37 worth buying if I already own a Dervish which is setup with Paris trucks and Lemon Bigzigs?

Very different. I am quite confident that you will love it for carving and sliding. Get 70mm wheels tho.

It's your money... though personally, I would just get a set of S8s to put on on the Dervish if I wanted the Original feel occasionally.

If you're wanting a new board completely, then yeah, I would go for something you haven't tried before.

Shorter, similar deck, top mounted but really low, less of a snappy flex IME.

The trucks are the big deciding factor. If you have a chance of trying them out please do, because some people love the trucks, others hate them. I'm not a huge fan of them.

the apex is probably my favorite original board and its the only board i think that works perfectly with their trucks.
