Which Symmetrical freeride deck?
So Ive been eyeing up a good freeride deck. Im sure this statement is met with some contempt on this forum, but I dont want a dervish. Nothing against loaded, but they are pretty big on my campus, and I generally want to set my self apart from other people.
Some of the decks Ive been looking at include
Fullbag Speedstyler, Gravity Kalai, BC Eel, Rayne Nemesis, open to other suggestions
Im looking for a good "Do it all deck", I use it for commuting alot, also standing slides, all out (?) sliding, technical tricks, Carving, and some hills (speeds sketch me out, so not much over 30, Ive got tattoo's to take care of ya know?)
Ive decided on grizzly 852's for trucks. I know NOTHING about bushings, and wheels, Im a fan of Zig's (because of my lack of experience from other decks).
So Im calling on the expertise of some other board members. What ya'll think? and why!?

I would recommend the Nemesis on 50* randals (or bears? never tried them) and some otang inheats (any duro). The drop and width combined on the nemesis lock your feet in so much for standup slides and all that! And the deck has a slight drop so its an inch closer to the ground so pushing is little bit easier. The nemesis is aslo a pretty light deck! Im on my third one and loving it just as much as I was when I got my first! I had one ran over by a caddy going like 50 and it ran over the dead center of my board and it flexed all the way down and hit the ground and popped straight into the air! No cracks or anything wrong with it! Just a scratch on the bottom of the deck from hitting the ground! . They are impressive if you ask me!

Spud, Switch, or Dually are boards to consider as well.

Re: Which Symmetrical freeride deck?
Take all the guess work out of it and go get something ready to rip right out of the box... since you said Kalai
extra stiff

regular flex

Re: Which Symmetrical freeride deck?
Maybe an earthwing supermodel or a comet FSM but comet boards tend to be a bit weaker because they use biodegradable glue which is cool but it is not exactly super glue... But comet's concave is the best concave i have ever felt so far out of all of the boards i have ridden

Re: Which Symmetrical freeride deck?
I hate how comet gets so much hate for trying to less impact the environment. Theyve recently upped their boards and they are strong as long as you don't do tiger claws and 6 stair bonelesses every day.

You really helped them out. It's been a year and the OP still hasn't bought a board!
But seriously, read the date on threads.
Earthwing - Big Myth - Surf-Rodz - Randal - Seismic - Kryptonics - Sector 9 - Khiro - Venom - Triple 8
Local companies can try and intimidate me, but I won't stop being a nuisance.
