Nemmy if you like being in the board, supermodel if you like being on the board.

Re: Nemi vs Supermodel
100% always nemmy, personally I think it's the best all around board.

Re: Nemi vs Supermodel
I'd go with the supermodel. I had a nemmy and it was my go to board for a long time. But in comparison the concave on the supermodel is just so comfortable and awesome.

Re: Nemi vs Supermodel
I'd probably take the Nemmy... It's very, very light, and is a great board, all around.

great all around but i do't think it's light, ime all EW boards are one of the lightest for their sizes and durability

My setup is a 44" Skull Skates Comet, Invader 183s ridden VERY loose, Powell G-Bones 97A. Any ideas on what I could do?

Re: Nemi vs Supermodel
What? The Nemesis is very light. A complete Nemesis isn't much heavier than a Landyachtz Switch deck by itself (unless you put Avilas or some crazy heavy wheels/trucks on it of course, but with Paris/Randals/whatevs, it's an extremely light deck).
I haven't ridden a Supermodel, so I can't comment on the weight of it, but it's 8-9 plies of maple, I can almost guarantee that it's a good bit heavier than a Nemesis.

That depends on your setup.
With 50* randals, 70mm is the lowest I went.
With 42* randals, I'm running 75mm and no risers, cupped washers all around and still bite occasionally.
You really just have to figure it out, but I'd go with bigger wheels/run risers

Re: Nemi vs Supermodel
If you're looking for some slidy goodness, you're best off in the 70-75 mm range. Zombie Hawgs/Durians are probably your best bet for wheels (I'd go with the zombies from my experience).
Even though you already got the board...since I own 2 EarthWing supermodels and a landyachtz switch (which is very similar to the nemesis), I can say that you'll probably like the nemesis. The thing I love about the EarthWing is the width and the concave, and the thing I love about the switch is the drop/bigger wheels/lock-in-ability of the drop bars, and the Nemesis as far as I know is wider than the switch, more like supermodel width, a bit lighter (probably about the weight of the 9 ply supermodel), the concave isn't as intense (more like the EW)...so all in all, if you wanna throw some comfortable slides, and still conquer some massive hills, I too would vote nemesis.

Re: Nemi vs Supermodel
I run Randal 42* with Otang 4prez No riser pads and I don't get rail bite and I always keep my bushings really soft. I wouldn't go any smaller than 70mm wheels.

Re: Nemi vs Supermodel
dont run 42*s, they suck. ive gone to 64mm on a set of loose 50*s without bite, but honestly, you shoulda bought the supermodell

Re: Nemi vs Supermodel
Dude Get some paris 195s and 81mm race formulas. Fun, slidey goodness!
At the top of a hill at a very rapid speed there's only one place to go.
At the top of a hill at a very high speed there's nowhere to go but down.

Re: Nemi vs Supermodel
landyachtz switch (which is very similar to the nemesis)
Wat? The boards are not alike at all, other than that they're dropped. Completely different construction, concave, length, width, wheelbase, and overall feel.
Anyways...
42*s are awesome, Paris are awesome, Raceforms are awesome. If you're using 42*s, you'll want bigger wheels or some riser, or both. 76mm with 1/8" riser and reallllly loose trucks should be fine. 50*s are fine with just about any size wheel.
