Rayne Vendetta VS Loaded Tan Tien

I have to buy a new longboard, and I can't choose which one, Vendetta or the new Loaded? Which one do you preffer?

it all depends what you want. the tan tien's a lot more tech trick oriented rather than directed towards freeriding, like the vendetta is. i've got a tan tien, and it's kicks are killer, but it's pretty sketch at some higher speeds like for freeriding. the vendetta's kicks look substantially smaller (based on the pics i've seen), and the loaded's piss light too, so i'd imagine the vendetta wouldn't be as good for tech tricks and such. however, rayne says that the vendetta is their "perfect freeride board", so i'd assume it'd be better for faster stuff/freeriding than the tan tien is...

sparknotes: both boards are geared towards tech tricks and sliding, but the loaded looks better for tech tricks while the vendetta looks better for freeriding.

vendetta is better for hills, it's got much less flex, and smaller kicktails. but if you've seen the demo video, you'll see what can be done with those tiny kicks. Some crazy ****, kick-tricks of many kinds. The tan-tien is basically the dervish with an interesting grip-job and more functional kicktails. And yes, that set-up sounds good

Look at the Sector Nine Rasta Board. with the lion on it. not sure the true name of it. but! i have one and its a fantastic hydrid which is what you seem to want.

On the other hand. Just bought a Tan Tien. Pretty sure its one of the only if not THE only in england! awesome. just wondering what people are doing with their tan tiens? like what are you buying them for? sliding? tricks? dancing? etc etc .

The vendetta is stiffer and has a longer wheel base and hella more concave than the tan tien. I also believe that the pop from the Vendetta is way better and i think its easier to pull tech tricks with too. The tan tien is just too short to grab very easily and im only 5' 10". The vendetta has plenty of room for dancing, but i feel that the tan tien is a little harder to move your feet around on. The vendetta i believe is a better LONGBOARD, the tan tien is just like a funky hybrid skateboard. leave the tan tien to 12 yr old kids making sh!tty youtube videos

hey i was planing on getting one of these sexy little boards and i was wondering what your personal thoughts on it are any info would be great

Ok well, i had been riding a dervish for the longest time, when ever i first stepped on the board i noticed it was alot stiffer, a little shorter and had way more concave than the derv. It was weird at first, but as soon as i took it downhill, i changed my mind about everything. I love how the concave locks your feet in, one of my friends can do some maddd long standies on my board. And if you are into doing tech tricks, this board will blow your mind. Its the perfect length to manual easily and has killer pop when pulling off tiger claws or other variations. The flex is just enough to cushion your landing too, this also allows for better control when taking it at faster speeds too. And with enough practice i think it is actually possible to kick flip it like Adam Auger does in a couple videos.

All in all i am in love with my vendetta, and its badass cause i won it in the rayne vendetta contest too. hopefully ill get a video up soon showing off this beauty. I really dont think you could go wrong in purchasing one. Its what they say it is, THE PERFECT FREERIDE BOARD!

i use mine for sliding, shuv its, a litlle bit of tricks, and dancing, though its a little short for some stuff while dancing.
