    Default The Rogers Bros. Asym

I have been in contact with Dave from Rogers Bros. and he has been very helpful about giving me useful information and specs on their wooden drop deck, entitled, The Asym. It is a great lookin' board and I know I am not the only one interested in it.

For those of you who have tried this board out, how is it?

    Here's the specs-

    "The Asym

    Length-41"

    Width-9 1/2" tapers to 8"

    5/8" thick-10 ply

Asym flatcave for front foot, tapers to symmetrical in back. bent for goofy
    only.
    Wheelbase- 33 1/2"

Platform is dropped 5/8" and is 29 1/2" long

    3 Stains:
    Chevy orange
    Ford blue
    Flat black

    Retails for $140.00"

Here are some pics for those of you interested also-

That looks like a nice, functional free-ride board. Not too much drop and looks strong enough to take a lot of curb-beatings.

It could certainly be used as a dedicated DH board as well

Yep, don't doubt it. Guessing that would be its main focus.

    1. In a tuck, your back foot is forward anyway

    2. You ride a voodoo. What about the back end of that?

The board has an asymetrical concave so there is more concave on one side (toeside). I guess only the version for goofy footers has been pressed.

This is roland's board and he rips like crazy on it. It is more then qualified for a dh board. Never rode roland's but Im regular anyway.

this board is bent for goofy foot but DT rode one and he's regular foot, but he doesnt post here anymore.
Riley loves his... but he doesnt post here anymore.
Tobys friend has one but he doesnt post here.
then there's 2 guys in Washington that have 'em..one doesn't post here and the other is a team rider for a different company,
and i dont think he'll post a review either.
so ya, gl getting an un-biased review on this board..
personally i think it's one of the best boards out there..it just feels so right..almost like it was custom made for me

Oh man these one looks like it will be a killer combo for some Kahas a 5/8" drop on a top mount GENIUS
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, cold beer in one hand - longboard in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, Yeaa Haaa What A Ride!!!

    Roland!

Thanks for the shirt at Bonelli!

    Yeah, my friend has one.
He immediately switched his trusty JimZ Flushcut when he got the Asym deck! He just loves it!
He's goofy, but I have to say that it feels really nice to me too, being a regular.

I think Roland has proved that it is a good deck, if you know what I mean, hehe.

awsome man. But I still think they should stick to boards that are cold when you ride them barefoot. How much for the bike?

Hey Toby! glad you like it. And you know those shirts are pretty rare, i can almost guarantee that you guys are the only ones in Sweden who own them

and PMC, i've been wanting to test a set of kahas with this deck. Any chance of borrowing yours for a couple weeks? promise not to bend them..
