50 cals vs bear 852

kinda stuck between caliber 50* and bear 852. ive hear bears are lighter and more carvy but the bushing seat is too restrictive. i hear 50 cals are heavier, shorten your wheelbase, but mostly hear people talking about how theyre a good dh truck. im planning to use these trucks mainly for freeriding. i also noticd bears are 181mm and cals are 184 mm. does that make much of a difference? so for freeriding which of the two are better in your opinion. any other truck suggestions?

Either Get Independents or Calibers depending on your TKP/RKP preference.

traditional versus reverse kingpin tkp's are skateboard trucks, but they still come with wide enough axles like indys or aces. Sit lower, slide more easily, not as good for high speeds.

I rider both Bears and Calibers, on different boards. I find the Calibers have more open bushing seat, and, at least to me, feel lighter than the Bears. Bears are my DH truck, while I use Cali's for freeriding, but that's just my personal preference. The Indy and Paris suggestions are also good ideas. All solid trucks.

I have bears and I cannot stand the bushing seat. It feels so restrictive. They do feel more stable than my paris trucks. I have heard great things about calibers though.

Its opposite, Calibers have a more restrictive bushing seat, are heavier than bears and are more stable than bears but still freeride amazingly. Bears don't really have much of a bushing seat just a 3mm high ring surrounding it. And to OP get the Calibers they are sex.
