oh now get it i was thinking that one hanger was different from the other (i know what rake is but i was just thinking asymetric as in front to back or side to side)




oh and i bet any of you that they don't need any more test pilots since there are 3 boards in the picture with the trucks and i doubt they all belong to one guy.

Both the front and back trucks have rake, but they are different. Meaning that there is an intended 'front' and 'back'

and i've snapped more kingpins in your supposed "strong" orientation than in the "weak". so what if he's got them that way. allows for more clearance.

i thought it was because putting your kingpin in 'backward' with the threads toward the baseplate caused the hole in the baseplate to slowly gauge out from the threads rubbing against it every time you took a turn, making it less 'precise' and eventually sloppy

Not necessarily true. This is most certainly the case for cast trucks most times, but a precision baseplate would hold the nut or bolt head tightly enough to keep the kingpin from moving at all. One precision trucks the most common problem is threading the hole in the baseplate intended for a kingpin (which only happens on trucks that have that hole milled to the same size as a kingpin as opposed to very slightly larger)

When you say "backwards" do you mean like randal style? Or like Indy style?
