This statement has been thrown out on a lot with these.
I feel like it's trying to take advantage of the dudes. They're super nice guys.
These are skaters not a big corporation they need to eat and buy stuff as well.
I think the option should only offered to their bro's and sis's (not literally) or if your buying a second set because i'm sure these guys only want the best out there.

I totally agree, but in the sense of small business, etc., they're more likely to make an extra buck by selling some old bashed in protos for a decent price. I'm sure a lot of people would pay $200 for some used old set.

Name another business that is this tightly knit into the community that they'd have this big of a group of people wanting beatup seconds.

What's going to happen to the seconds if they don't sell them for cheap, etc.? They'll be given away to friends or something I'd guess.

Might as well get some profit out of them.

I'll take 2 sets.

Actually, I talked to Tommy months ago about getting some of the older older protos after they were done being tested, but he only had one set that had sentimental value and wasn't willing to let them go even for the price of the presale trucks.
