    Default Seismics or Originals

It seems like the Carver trucks have a wheel size limit 60mm or so. Do Seismics or Originals have a wheel size limit keeping the riser thickness with in reason. And where can you get Originals? I have never seen them on any sites. Thanks for any info...kenny.

Originals are awsome for carving. But they do have some restrictions. Your board needs to either be real narrow in the front and the back or else you'll need cutouts. Flashbacks will work with em', but your better with a real soft duro to prevent sliding out.

If you don't want a limit to your wheel size, buy a board that's designed properly. Wheel wells won't suffice, cut-outs, however, do.

Crass has a Gravity (hyper or mini)-carve set up with S6's I believe. Also, pick up a board by original, they've obviously been designed for the original trucks.

That said, I've never rid originals but do have a pair of wonderful seismics which rock my socks.

Seismics give more power to return to center . but originals turn more.

I got the Carvers a few days ago. 60mm wheels riser pads and wheel wells and it will still get mad wheel bite. I'm giong to move the trucks closer and then do cut outs. Then maybe I can run flashies or at least 65 noskools. The Carvers will run circles around my Randals, they are great for flats maybe some transitions and ditches but I doubt I would want to go fast on them.

Or if your board is not narrow at the ends or does not have cut outs,
just get the wider S8's or S10's. They should work on virtually any longboard deck, and with the right risers wheelbite should not be a problem.

I run S6's with Gumballs or Nicotine Prototypes on my Freeride 47.
    ABSOLUTELY NO WHEELBITE WHATSOEVER.

It seems pretty well established that Originals are good for carving and Seismics are good all around trucks, but how are Seismics for carving, and how are Originals for all around use?

Seismics carve great and Originals are great all-arounds if you have cut-outs - they really do turn THAT much! I would choose Seismics over Originals in a downhill situation.
