Ok, its not rocket science, but if you can visualise this..
The Axles are split in-line with the kingpin, so are in line with that, also they are in-line with the Pivot. No offsets in either direction. Thats an easy (ish) way to work out what clearances you'll get without actually seeing the hangers in the flesh.
So, they will ride lower than a Randal Hanger.
Using a longer kingpin (we advise a 2. 75" if you want to run barrels will drop the head of the kingpin by a further .1/8th" approx, taking a notional 45 angle, (I know most will run 42, but its close enough.) By having the nut under the hanger you can increase clearance because the kingping in effect rises as you tighten it.
The setups pictured show a rather loosely assembled truck. On Sunday I will photograph a 42 degree baseplate with bushings tight so you can see clearance, er, clearly!
John, we've talked about boundaries and I'm still not sure you're clear where the line is between bump draft and inapproriate touching. I'll bring the doll out next time and show you where the "no" places are.
They're Cults on Franky's board. To hell with Venoms, CULT CULT CULT! They my favourite DH wheel of the moment. Both amazing grip and slide, totally kick the arse off zigzags

Ive only had this setup to about 30mph on fairly straight bits off road. So i cant say what there all about yet. But like most things, if it looks right it prob is right. The shockers were only in because it was all i had to check set up, as to wheelbite. Its gotsome propoer ones in there now.. Ive got about 1/2 inch clearance betwix road and kingpin.

Yep, ordered 'em Thursday from Octane, but I don't know when they'll get here. I haven't received a tracking number.

Finally got it set up. I've been waiting months for all the stuff to get here.
The kingpin is definitely low, but I'm waiting for some Elims to change that a little bit.
