    Dear Mr. Cindrich,
    Trade him for some Airflows.

Woohoo, I got to handle an Airflow today and got pictures for reference while I'm CADing my design. I wish the shop owner had let me borrow it for a few days. If you've never seen an Airflow it's fairly easy to think you would need a larger aluminum block to mill them out of, but they're really not a lot thicker than RST precision hangers, but they could very possibly need more machine time.

Are all the DH plates the same height when the hangers are attached, not including the original Indy baseplate?

It's been a while since I measured, but they all seem really close. No difference felt when riding anyway.

Are these Cindys an afterthought for you now or are they still an actively ridden truck? I ride an Indy 215/Dart 184 combo, what would be equivalent to the Dart?

I'm pretty sure a decent number of people on the Fish ride 'em. They're my main DH truck now.

The 215/Dart combo is pretty sweet. I used to run that combo on my old Hill Killer.
The lower angle Cindys work better at higher speeds IME.
I use the Cindys exclusively on my DH setup, !0* front 5* rear. So I'm dewedged 7 in front, 12 back. As far as a Tracker 184, the 10* Cindy would be the closest thing to that. Although the Darts still turn differently; less twitchy at the top, and a little divier/looser toward the end of the steering (to me). The steering difference between a stock Indy 215 and a Tracker 184 (again, to me) is kind of like the difference between a 45* Crail and a 42* Randal. The Crail turns a lot more at the top, and a little more in general, all things being equal (the ability to get same board lean, etc.)
Andrew Mercado ran 10/0 (I believe) Cindys at Maryhill and finished 15th.
The baseplates are very high quality. And they look cool too.
edit: just saw Pete's post. Yup........... a lot of people on here run them.

Anybody try these on a Killswitch? I'm interested to see if you can bite with 75mm wheels.

That's what I like to hear. I know Indys move the wheelbase out so I figured as much, but it never hurts to ask.

well i just got some Surf Rodz axle extensions and have been running them with bennett 5.0s on a dancer. that spaces them out to around 200mm (need to measure to be truly exact) i am wondering cool it would be to run them on some indy 129s. that would make the indys a closer to true 200mm truck. i dont know if surt rods has the extensions at the correct length yet because they are beta testing them still, and trying to see if they will bend axles. but in theory 70mm extensions would make a 129 a 199mm hanger. another thing i am wondering is it there is a whey to add an axle extenstion that creates an offset axle. i guess if it was a screw on, it would just unscrew itself due to weight being offset. all just ideas. thought i would throw them out there for you guys to chat about.

I see what your saying....I'm thinking in a static compression the natural tendency of the "drops" in the axle (if the axles were loose and allowed to swivel) would be to align themselves with the angle the KP is at.....you know, path of least resistance and all . Which is why... if the axles were fixed in this position they would achieve optimum traction. In a high speed roll, would swivleing dropped axles want to trail? Very interesting. You could definitely tack them in a way to where they wouldn't come loose, for a little while anyway...someone with more truck-tweaking experience than I could probably wrap their head around this one.

ive seen some cut up trackers with an offset and they were kept in place be set screws and/or tacks that had to be placed. unfortunately since there are 2 pieces coming together with one holding the weight they axels are prone to bending.

Damn Greg, that sucks. Sorry to hear that, man. On the subject of offset axles being attached on arms held by set screws: are we talking something similar to a Radikal rear?

Thanks for the kind words (you too Tony and Peter). More time to skate.
As far as offsets...yeah I think so....that's the impression I got. Me = no experience in slalom gear.

Dang Greg, I'm sorry to hear that man. I'm sure something better will come up. You could always move to the employment mecca that is Michigan. Oh wait.

I took these to our fastest garage yesterday and they are so stable it's retarded, even on a 28" wheelbase. They are just the way speedboard trucks are meant to feel like in my opinion. We were doing some rails and I was railing the hairpins and sticking the whole way. These are just awesome.

And whoever was asking about sidewalks, my 10/0 setup isn't the greatest for navigating campus. That's what the kicktail on my speedboard is for I suppose.

I'ma try flat Indys when I get my Killswitch, but I can't help but feel like I will be dropping the C.R.E.A.M. on 10/10 Cindys.
