I changed 0* plate to right angle kingpin so EC doesn't kill me.

there really isn't a comparison, for some of us the are better than randal style trucks but thats only saying what we like. The initial turn is quicker than randals though not by much but afterwards it slows down some, they are easier it slide/drift, much more fun to carve and ride LOW

Re: Indy DH plate
Stoke report!
Disclaimer: I suck.
Got a 0*/right angle plate from B-$ today and had a chance to ride for the first time in awhile tonight. Mainly hit a parking garage and some bike path lovin' and the 0* as a rear is amazing. I've got Hybrid 215s on a Revenger and I gotta say, I didn't even think about the trucks. I never felt this good with reverse kingpin trucks. These just feel... right. The 0* rear is a set-it-and-forget-it type deal for me, it worked immediately and I haven't fussed with it since I put it on. Can't wait to get a 10* for the front. Skating is more fun now.

Re: Indy DH plate
Hmmmm, am getting more and more into thinking about some o' these they sound Rad. I've been riding indys since about a year after I started skating, 10 years ago. Such nice trucks! Am thinking 215s, 0 back, 10 front or 5 back 15 front for 40mph with corners on a Mystery model and 70mm wheelies.
Sounds like you get all the drift of something lower but with that topmount feel? Is that right?

Re: Indy DH plate
My 500 post had to be here....
Have been riding the setup lately, nothing too fast, but started now to make some heelside predrifts...
Gotta say that the board feels very neutral....its like whatever you want to make out of it, she does it perfectly!
I am really enjoying the lean/turn of the 5 plates...
Plus i bought some 86a Zigs recently, and with it, the board is so nice....easy and predictable to put on slide and grip back!Smooth transitions for a smooth ride...and a happy rider!
Hope ill go bomb it harder before Christmas...

Re: Indy DH plate
That sounds really good, the MM looks like it's made for Indys because of the way the cutouts are. Since the deck is a little longer I would get 10/5 or 15/5. You don't drift as much as something super low, but you definitely get more of a balance because of the lower height. I'd say you're spot on with that sentiment.
Can I confirm regular indy plates are 17?
So would it make more sense to buy a 10 and a 5 as 17 is already almost 15. Then I'd have options of 5, 10 and 17 to mess with turn wise.
Ain't buying anything until the new year anyhoo.
