    Default Maintaining Original Trucks Video

A tutorial on how to take apart Original trucks, change the Wave Cams and the springs, as well as tips on solving problems like squeaky or self-loosening trucks.

Let me know what you guys think!

    Well done,

takes all the fun out of the first time you have to take your trucks apart and figure out how they go back together.

The sanding does definately work, but I've had to do it more than once on my set of trucks that are 6 months old (I think i've done it 3 times now). It appears to just be what you ride it in and there must just be the right size of particles that get in and leave some nastry marks on the metal/cam.

you said to use the lithium grease; but one point to suggest is.. how much and in what areas. I put a thin layer on the inside of metal casing and relatively liberal between the two cams; I find there is definately a balance between too much and too little. Too little and you're back squeaking again.. too much and you pick up alot of gunk and your lube is rendered useless. This balance has been a work in progress; and since you've been riding originals so long you might have some input into that.. a dimes worth.. make it sloppy.. (whatevery you might suggest)

That video definately will solve some of the issues I have encountered; one you might want to talk about is the rattling; but I usually find that coincides with the loosening.
