Noob bushing questions!

I need new bushings because Im big, and my bushings are too soft.

So here are my questions:

1. Do shortboard bushings work on longboard trucks?
2. Is 95+a too hard for a 250+lb learner?
3. What are the advantages/disadvantages or barrel bushings?

1. Some shortboard bushings may work,but most of them are to short to and hard to work in Randals

2. 95a is REALLY hard and may feel dead in your trucks,but try it, you might like it. You could also buy some kihro or venoms in 90a to 93a

3. barrel buchings are usally more stable and and have more resinstance than a cone bushing

I am a more heavy rider and I started out on stock ruby reds in my Holeys (88A). Finally switched them out and put some blue 95's in front and yellow 99's in back and they work great.

Yeah, thats what I got. 99a. Almost got some 100a.

Im going to go cruise and tweek them and see what happens. But just standing on the board I feel much more comfortable.

dude don't be ashamed for using 99a. do what u gotta do to make it work for ya. u'll find in time that they'll get broken-in and give u a little more cush and lean.
