Original Black springs.. not for DH

So I was watching the fireworks today at the local beach, being careful not to get my board in the sand. There are some sweet hills around so I thought I would take my board down hill for the first time... Got down most of the hill ok, as I started getting to the bottom I got some NASTY speed wobbles. I was in drop knee with all my way on my front truck, and Ive hit that hill with some chargers on a S9 Bomb hills, and surf camp with 0 problems...


Skin is missing from 2 places on the ankle. all over the calf, 3 on the knee, hip, on the elbow, and most of my shoulder.

So Red springs I hope will be better, Im at least gonna wait for this to heal before I try it again

None of the springs stop wobble. They will always be twitchy at speeds due to the nature of them. I dropped white springs in my Apex37 when I had one and it did nothing for stability.

The lesson to be learned here is that "Original TRUCKS are not for DH"

isnt orginals mo carving not bombing hills. look at their videos it deep carves down hills. so ya im gonna say stay away from their trucks if you wanna bomb hills. just grab some randals they wil get u down what ever u want

did you have gloves or pads or anything? you should have imagined that originals with black springs aren't made for bombing anyway

and i have white springs on my 37 and it bombs no problem, as opposed to black springs which can only go moderately fast. you just need to know the trucks really well haha

no pads, no gloves, a bit of whiskey and a hard landing.. I did have a helmet though
