Default Randals or Paris trucks for carving???

I am looking into getting a new set of trucks for carving. Anybody have any suggestion on which ones I should go with. Either the Randal 50 degree or Paris trucks.

Either. I think Paris seem to have a little more life. And Paris stock bushings are better.

IMO Paris are much smoother, however Randal allow for sharper carves, but alot of this may be to my staggering figure of 150lbs.

agreed.

randals sit a little lower (good)

they also have more baseplate options, and a less twitchy feel to me. also the bushings that come in them are quite good too.

i've said it before and i'll say it again: Paris trucks but they are made in china? gtfo...

It does not matter which one you choose they are basically the same truck so with your decision they are both going to be a good ride.

Whatever you can get cheaper with free shipping in the color you like best. Because the differences in their ride are minute.

Why did I end up choosing Randals over Paris? Hm, I barely remember now. They were American made?

They are pretty crazy at carving and turning from what I've experienced so far. Too good for me. Getting double barrel bushings to see if it gives me a bit more stability.

I was gonna grab up some RII's but after demo'ing them and then the newer Paris 180s with the Venom bushings I could feel the difference. I bought the Paris. They are both nice and I am sure Randals with Venoms are just as nice, but the other thing was I thought the Paris trucks looked nicer as well. The green RII are nice though.

Paris customer service is awsome. They replaced a pair of bent trucks for me, even though the trucks got lost in the mail on the way over. They pretty much took my word for it, and sent me brand new ones with an AWSOME graphic. They sent me three sets of different bushings, (I assume the new stock bushings, but they sure don't ride like typical stock bushings).

Does anyone know what kind of bushings these would be? They are awsome..

They're Paris' stock Venom-formula bushings.. which explains why you enjoy them
