hhhmmmm I'm still a bit confuse on this part....
If you can flop the truck around like there's a bit in the middle where the bushings barely touch the hangar, that's bad, makes it all unstable with crap rebound.

If the bushing is so compressed that the sides bulge out it won't compress properly and you'll get crap rebound.

These are both signs you need harder or softer bushings.

Can you explain to me what a Hourglass bushing does (like you did with Barrel and Cones)?
I'm afraid I don't have a lot of familiarity with hourglass bushings so can't really explain the ride perfectly, I'll have to leave it to someone else...

What can i do to add rebound and less squish and more compression on tracker fasttracks?
Ok, it looks like trackers fit regular bushings too so... depending on your weight, try out some venom barrel bushings in there. They don't feel very squishy, more bouncy and they have great compression for deep turns. Get a few sets and experiment!

I never knew they could run regular bushings as well. I was looking at Venom DH Bushings, but my only dh trucks are Tracker Fastracks, and i heard that they only fit Stim III's. But now i just searched it and found out they can fit normal cushions! Thanks bro +rep for the advice, But would i have to change anything on the truck to setup the venoms?

Hmmm I dunno, depends on the height of the tracker bushing. I believe venoms are about 16mm so you should be good if they;re about that size, otherwise you MAY need a longer kingpin...

hi I'm thinking of replacing my stock randals bushings with a 85a khiro barrel and an 83a tall cone (orange and blue but i cantremember which ones are which) but I heard that the khiro barrels are shorter than normal ones and the bottom cone on randals is bigger than normal so to make it the same should I put in an extra washer on the bottom?
also where is a good place to get a new 3" kingpin in the UK?

Yup, that is correct skateguy, you do need an extra washer. Your best bet for a good kingpin in the uk is Octane Sport Skateboards , stridey will sort you out. On that subject in fact, why not get bushings from him too? He doesn't really stock many khiros any more, but he does have venoms and sabres which are massively nicer.

I reccommend his cut down 2.75" kingpins and some purple and orange sabres.

thanks. I think I will get the sabers. they are a little harder than what I was looking at but the randals stock bushings are quite hard so it wont be such a big deal. I am goin to get either the 3" or 2.75" kingpins. Just wondering do they come in pairs or do I need to order quantity 2 for a pair of trucks?

Hmmm I dunno, I assume they come singly? Ah yea just looked, they are singly.

It's alright that the sabres are a bit harder cos they compress way more than khiros so they seem like a bouncier, softer bushing, hoorah! I would get the 2.75" kingpin, just the right amount of thread for double barrels.

    Copied from octane website:
    Shipping & Delivery
We aim to send goods out either the day we recieve the order, or the next day. If for any reason we are unable to do this we will email you with the following options: Immediate refund, accurate timescale of re-stock or alternative goods. Its your choice. Our local post office is open until 7pm, so often you will recive your goods next day. We can also arrange delivery at events we attend.
You;d be best off choosing the new 2.99 non royal mail delivery cos of the postal strike. But there is the option of 1.58 royal mail.

I'm just pulling this stuff off the octane site though. He has live chat help on there too, try it out! Or ring them up, I'm sure he can sort you out.

Don't throw out the stock randals. Since you're gonna get Sabres, try a purple Sabre barrel bottom and the randal red cone top. I tried it once recently going through a bunch of bushing combos trying to find something that fit. Liked it, kept it and have done it on another board now too.

Hah! You're about my weight range, perfect.

Pretty sure you're gonna love a green/purple sabre barrel combo. Green closest to baseplate, purple on the other side. It's super stable, yet still offers loads of turn. Probably on the of sexiest bushing combos I've ever stepped on.

as much as i would love to use that setup, i just don't have access to them, the local shops here just carry venoms.

Hi. I'm ordering my new bushings and kingpins later and I was wondering is there any point in getting a 3" kingpin or is 2.75 long enough to have any bushing combo without having to keep the thrucks to tight?

2.75 is fine far as I can tell. Unless you wanna run 3 bushings per truck or something wild.

how are reflex bushings? I was thinking of running a pair of the 80a lime ones on a pair of grizzlies.
