Re: Bushings. Different types and how to set them up.
Hi there,
I just got some Bear grizzly 852 trucks and they're ok, much 'surfier' than my randalls.
I placed an order for some extra wheels and I ordered some extra bushings as well.
The thing is, I ordered the wrong ones I guess.
Khiro barrel bushings (so 1 barrel and 1 cone shape) - 79 & 85a, are these going to fit on my bear 852's? Or should I place an extra order for double barrel bushings?
If they don't fit, I might use these for my Randalls.
I weigh about 168 pounds and I would like to practice my pumping abilities on my Landyachtz totem bamboo and grizzlies + gumballs.
Re: Bushings. Different types and how to set them up.
Bears were originally designed around khiros! they fit better in bears than they do in Randals where you need to shim the bottom bushing up with a washer. All will be well.

loki w/ 42* rII with venom barrels 85/90 front and 90/93 back (FLIPPED hanger).
the loki is in the mail, so i have yet to ride it. tryin to decide on what bushings i want to throw on it.
I think its a little over kill on the back... I weigh 180 and use 85/85 on the front and 90/85 on the back with no flipping of trucks, and i can hit around 50 on it without tightening the bushing very much.

My suggestion would be no flipping of hangars cos a: it changes the ride height, b: you have to use extra washers to shim the bushing up to sort it all out and c: I personally think it feels nasty
90a bottom 85a top all round should be delicious. I don't go anywhere near a green barrel and weigh like 200lbs!

Hey. I got a rayne hellcat with randals and orangatang in heats. I like it a lot but itsotthe black stick bushings and they're as hard as a rock IMO. I weight 120 lbs and it's extremely hard to turn even by just a little bit. What would you suggest. I want something stable but will still be able to turn/carve to reduce my speed. I was thinking of getting lemon reflex ones at the bottom and lime or pink at the top? Will that be good?
I also have araybe timeline. I'm gonna get some bennet 5.0 for it soon and orange 4prez. What bushings should I put on there for pumping? Thanks.

Double cones or Standard Cone + Barrel. For your weight something between 81a and 85a fits just fine!
I have the 81a in top and 85a in bottom in my Pagan, feels just fine for everything I wanna do.

I like the way barrels turn, really stable yet very carveable.
I weight 100lbs and I'm using 86 and 80 front, 86 and 83 back. But it's just this way because I'm not used to loose trucks, next time I'll see if I run 83 and 80.

They turn, but make sure to keep in mind that cones > barrel in turning. However, I've heard that Venoms Cones are somewhat too fast. So people often use Barrell+Cone.
