I'd be interested in a 15* to begin with.
    I think a 15* Cinnett with a 80a Khiro
wedge pad would be the ticket for me.
That way, i'd still get some dampening
    from the wedge pad.
I don't want to be stuck with 22* or so baseplate,
because I still believe there is a lot to said
    for a Bennett wedged at 14 - 15 degrees,
sometimes I think that going beyond that is
overkill and can create some wierd side
    effects form the extreme wedging.
When will you be having these available,
and do I need to preorder?

Stock plate is 10 . . . Then 20 degrees FTW. 20 degree plate plus 8 degree soft Kiro wedge pad = front truck LDP sex.

20 degree plate flat = sweet front cruiser/GS type setup.

    These are my preferences

Most people seem to use a lot more than +5 or +10 degrees wedging to get the Bennett working the way they want for slalom or LDP. The downside of stacking wedges is unwanted height (sometimes).

+5 is too close to standard.

+10 would be better, but most people wedge them way more.

I'd suggest making +15 degree baseplates. That would allow people to use them with a flat shock-pad, or add a few more degrees, according to their preferences.

    VERY interested in these.
But an ADJUSTABLE Bennett baseplate would be absolutely KILLER.
Slalom friends are already cutting down Bennett hangers, fitting ball-pivots & sphericals in the hanger. They can be made to work VERY well for slalom at a fraction of the cost of CNC'd trucks.

I think an adjustable baseplate would be amazing.
Maybe not quite the performance of an adjustable GoG truck, but at a fraction of the cost.

Let us know how it goes with the fixed-angle baseplates; I'll probably need 2 or 3.
Cash waiting for the adjustable plates, if you ever get around to it.

Hey guys, Stoked is going to offer the "Cinnett" plates on the Mermaid completes. That is sorta why this plate got started.

    Here is the link:

RoeRacing Mermaid LDP Complete - RoeRacing - Completes

Just placed an order for 10 of the 15º baseplates to start. We are going to pair them with a Khiro 8.75º shock pad. That should give the perfect angle, height, wheel bite prevention, and a little bit of shock reduction with the 80a pad. Puts the final angle to match a standard 5.0 baseplate + 13.75º. That should be perfect for an "out of the box" LDP offering. On top of that, this fixes the issue with the splined Bennett kingpins breaking under extreme wedge conditions.

    Awesome sauce!

I have found that 20 can be really scary turny for new LDP'rs. A little less wedge, and a little more wiggle for them works well. The 20 is available on the Mermaid, I just need to get a couple in the shop for those customes that want them.

You guys know that we NEED some of the stack height to combat wheel bite. So you can't go too CNC crazy... Unless you want CNC risers... Which I am sure some peeps would love.

    This just in!!!
20 degree king pin angle "Cinnetts"
Now available for $45.00 per plate.
The king pin is pressed in, but is just a normal grade 8 bolt, no splines. The hex is captured on the back side of the plate to hold it from spinning.
PM me to place an order.
They will also be available on the Stoked Skateboards web site.
    Thanks
    Dave

    Yes
I will likely do a 10 degree one to replace the stock plate, and a 5, and maybe a 0

Jon and I were talking about running 0º/0º Bennetts for speedboarding. I may just have to get extension axles for my 4.3s and mess with a wedge kit just to see how fast I can go before I die.

Wouldn't the 15* cinnett = regular bennett plate with the 5* wedge?
