hey, ive been using independent trucks for about 3 months and the front truck has cracked in half, do they have a warranty?
Also, I was thinking about making some trucks myself, any suggestions?

Has anyone else ever broken/bent there independent trucks?
And im thinking about making a cast with my other truck, or bend my truck back, welding it, then weld a plate over it.

Are the hangars ground down from too many grinds...if not
check the break in the casting and have a look at the "grain" of the cast...if the grain is course with chunks of dark grey metal about 2mm wide then its a casting fault and thats why they broke.....plus you cant weld the hangar unless you have high TIG skills and a hot gun...plus i wouldnt trust them again.....get onto indy if the casting is bad and demand a refund or a replacement hangar....tracker tried to pull the same **** on me two years back and enough angry e mails and 2 months later i got my replacement hangar....i got a sticker by way of thanks so i stuck it on my bareass took a photo and sent it to them....i had a bad day that day

well, i have good TIG skills cause i weld for a job, and i told them it was a casting fault, but independent said that they dont warranty them, ill take a picture and send it to the and ask for a new hanger because of a new cast again. Hopefully the picture will help.

wow, if that happened by itself, it MUST be a casting fault.
mine looked like this after a 40 ton truck decided to go lengthwise over my board

    Default Indi'd a fault!

If it was me, I'd find out who the President of the company is, 'mail HIM the pics, or the truck, and tell him what has transpired with the service department. Might get you quicker action...
