Yeah, that's true actually. With the shape, and the fact they're not fat barrels. Be better off with double 85a barrels back and front, all around. It will still lean, and feel a lot looser than a skateboard, but it will feel tighter in comparison to what you've got now.

Re: Washer getting embedded in bushing?
kracked skulls boards come disassembled. are you sure you put the bigger bushing on the side closer to the deck? i'm assuming you assembled the trucks yourself. if the bushing positions are reversed, you'll have a really loose ride no matter what.

It's definitely experience then. Like past posters have said, loose trucks is a good idea. You have to get used to carving.. so find a gradual slope where you can get up to max pushing speed easily, but not exceed it easily. Strech by walking around a bit and really putting emphasis on the arches of your feet. Then try carving.
(It could be a bushing thing too.. I ride the 85A yellow pumpkins from Bear, and they're great. A nice, easy rebound. Feels great once you warm up to them. They are really big, and odd shaped, though - might not fit Randals.)
I ride regular and I find that my body naturally leans forward on the frontside carve, and back on the heelside carve.
You want to start out easy and make slow, comfortable carves before you start learning to really lean into it and swing your arms.
It can be a really soulful experience. My confidence improved hugely when I spent two days and four sessions carving on a slightly downhill, long run by my house.

Re: Washer getting embedded in bushing?
IF you are dealing with the stock bushings from Randal, those are actually double cones. If you're looking for a more stable ride, consider bushings of this shape: . Randals seem to be a truck that feels best with a stim shaped bushing in it to restrict some of the lean. Anywho, experiment, and have fun. Remember, loose trucks save lives!
