Post Grom biz trucks on a hellcat?

Can it be done? Can the grom biz be dropped without modding the board? I want the board to stay low and I heard Grombiz trucks are tall. Should I get a dropped board instead? Thanks

Allot of that will depend on the type of rideing you plan on doing, if your a DH guy then you would probubly not want to be on a board with drop through trucks because of stability factors at speed, that and i dont know of any drop thru boards with the little or no flex that you would need for a DH deck needs to have... if you were thinking more of free ride then i would say go for it... as far as modifying the trucks themselves, i wouldnt recomend it on thease trucks, modifying could throw off the pre-determined angles in witch the trucks are ment to be set too... just mt .02

the hellcat is a dh board. tonnnnssss of dh boards are drop thru and topmounted. there are tonnnnsss of stiff drop thru's including the hellcat. by no means do you need a drop deck for dh.

i think he was mainly concerned with the trucks fitting in the drop thru mount. he was talking about modding the board not the trucks.

as to answer your question i have no idea

There are lots of dropped through DH boards around and drop-throughs are generally feeling a bit more stable than topmounts.

    Rebel's trollin. Dont know nothin.

Dojo the baseplate and pivot mechanism on the truck does not fit the standard drop cutouts on most dropped decks Sorry.
I know someone who can make you a hellcat copy for a little over half the price of new with the grombiz specific dropmount patterns.
PM me about it if your interested.
