Default Are there any lower priced (semi) precision trucks out there?

I have been longboarding for about 15 years and started downhill about 7 years ago. I have a DHR and a homemade deck for downhill and have recently bought a demonseed which should be here in the next two weeks.

I've been riding Randall RII's since the start and have 4 sets on different boards. They are good trucks and I love them but I want to get something different, more downhill specific. I know I can get different baseplates but I want to check out different kind of trucks.

I checked and found different trucks, amongst them Randall 180's, Paris 180mm, Bear Grizzlies and Crail Speed's which all have a similar build. All go for around 60 bucks per pair.

Then when I go to precision trucks it all becomes 250 bucks per truck. Is there any precision truck out there worth getting that is around 100 bucks per truck? Thanks in advance.

    SZ truck system

Under $200 for a full set... this is as inexpensive as it gets if you're looking for CNC.

Grombiz on a DHR is boss!
With the angle adjustment you can also ride it around town and downhill.

    semi precision???

You're better off cast; a truck (or anything for that matter) is only as good as it's weakest component. Just stick with cast trucks. Try Crails.

Crails. 45*, more turn than lean, plus axles that are very close to a true 8mm. Use some barrel or stim shaped bushings and you will get a pretty tight ride.

I like my Bear Grizzlies, but you might want to look into picking up some Sabre trucks if you can. They're cast, but really clean looking. 190mm hanger at 45˚. I've never tried them, but they seem like they would be wonderful. I don't think they're too expensive either. I'm also not sure if they've been released, but there's a thread about them that you should look into.
