Post Gullwing Sidewinder trucks on a Bustin' Strike?

Would gullwing sidewinder trucks work on a Bustin' Strike? If you think there would be a better truck for carving/downhill/cruising (nothing over 25mph) tell me.
I want to die living, so I longboard.

its not really worth it. just buy new softer bushings..

just do paris or randall 180s.

My friend has a strike with randalls and 85a venom bushings. carves pretty damn well.

    but i recommend paris.

I totally disagree. Go with Randals. Randals are PERFECT for the strike. I use Randals on my strike and love it. Get some squishy venoms relative to your weight and carving will be great.

Personally I use red elims for my freestyle/slide/DH setup on my Strike. Works really well.

Old thread, just stumbled by. If you care anymore... I have a Strike. I use Randall's on it. They work pretty well. I slapped my Sidewinders on it for fun. That sucked. The wedging effect of the nose and tail totally kill the response I was searching for by using the sidewinders. Don't do it. My friend has a Strike with Paris trucks, If you are looking to cruise the neighborhood, I recommend the Paris trucks. They were really responsive and gave the board a different ride than the Randall's.

Sorry just stumbled upon the old thread. I was building my Bustin Strike, and actually had the same question. Only the Grizzly, Gullwing, and Randal trucks are offered for the Strike. Would you recommend the Randals? I want to use my board mainly for commuting, with downhill coming in second.

    Thanks!
    need board. must ride.

I love the Strike. In my opinion, the trucks that work best with it are Hybrid Indys from Mile High Skates. I hated the way Bears felt with it. They were stable at speed, but impossible to turn at lower speed. I though I just didn't like Bears until I slapped them on my brother's Belly Racer. Paris were better and I'm sure Randals are similar.

    P.S. Get the 215s.

P.P.S. Bustin sells Indys. Just call and ask for them. You can do the MHS mods yourself.
