Measuring some extra parts around here with a micrometer...
Trackerfasttrack=3.10dia
aces=3.08dia
Not near 8mm.
Those aces aren't even in what I'd call the 5/16 range, nor are they straight.
Maybe these are rejects and they've changed things.
This may take a lot more work than I speculate, but could you hammer out a non precise axle and replace it with precision axles for cnc'd trucks? (Just thinking out loud)
Anyone?
Also, someone should look into the diameter of surfrodz extenders.

Thats funny.
It'd probably cost more then it's worth. But go for it anyway
the only non precisions I use is randals and have no problems with the axels being a little to small. I feel my 2 year old smokeys axels are getting rusted and expanding so it's harder to get the bearings off everytime I change wheels...

How old are they? I know they had problems a few yrs back. I deal with new Ace trucks pretty often, and it's a bitch sometimes to get bearings onto them. They are definitely thicker than most axles I see. And I see a lot.

It's very well worth it if you have the proper tools/ Many of my favorite trucks are modded cast. You need to line bore the old axle hole to align it and size it correctly. But good axle stock isn't cheap. Zealous axles cost almost as much as a pair of most cast trucks, but for over 30 years I've realized the axle is similar to the foundation of your house.. The truck can only be as good as it's root core.
