Get 2.75" grade 8 kingpins. You should be able to change the kingpin.

I don't know about new bears, but you should be able to hammer or force it out...

Whoa! Slow down and don't wreck anything - no force should be necessary, but you might have to take the trucks off of the deck depending on how the kingpins are inserted. I'm also puzzled about your problem with the bushings. I just put Venom barrels on my Bears and the stock kingpin works fine. Are Reflex bushings taller?
If you can't hit bottom, wear the sides out.

bear kingpins have little teeth that are sort of forced into the baseplate, you may have to hammer it out,

or you could always take a razor and shim the bushing down

Bear Kingpins come out fine, just whack em out.

Bear King pins are pressed in. To get them out, just get a hammer and tap it out gently. and if the bushings don't fit, then I'd imagine the obvious solution would be to use a longer one? As for Reflex's, they are a tad taller, but only by about 2mm or so.
