Help with Randal pivot cups

Alright so Ive got some randal plates, however they have no pivot cups. None of cups I have will fit them either, tried the ones in my khiro bushing kit, they are all too small and leave a lot of room for play. Has anyone filled in the extra space of a pivot cup thats too small for the base plate with glue or something? Would there be reasons this would be stupid? Anyone know where I can get just randal pivot cups??

im pretty sure the randal sight has pivot cups.

where did you get yours from? i've never heard of baseplates without cups

glue sounds sketchy to me, like it wouldn't hold it's shape after some riding. the pivot would force dents into it leaving slop. just my theory on the idea.

tyler on my avenger i run a homemade pivot cup on my front hangar (the paris one), 3/8" ID braided vinyl tubing or fuel hose is what it is made out of. should be available at ace or home depot.

ill bring it tonight and you can scope the cup and give it a try. you could borrow the cups from my unmounted 42* plates/unmounted 50* plates once i throw the hybrids on the fsm if you want to ride your 42*plates tongiht.

Wrap a little tape around the Khiro pivot cup, works fine.

Thanks for all the helpful info guys. I dont trust ghetto rigging a cup with rape or glue, and shipping for 2 pivot cups is 7 dollars from randal. F that. Im gonna go the hose route, +rep to caster for that.

Adam I wanna check out your cups tonight. Im gonna mount the 42's and use the pivots from my current 50* plates, and prolly get some of the hose stuff tomorrow.
