    Default Bushings!

I know this Forum isn't for bushings, but we currently don't have one. So I came here to get your opinions, and comparisons on bushings.

I am mostly a flat ground carver/pumper/ and free rider. I also am into Mild downhill, never exceeding 35 mph. I am in the process of getting a new board, and I can't decide on bushings. I'm looking at venom's primarily, but I need to know which shape and duro.

Info: They will be placed in paris trucks, and I am 135 lbs.

I need to know what the differances between a classic, super carve, and eliminator shape are( all of which are Venom). Also which duro would be best for me... Thanks guys!

New Paris trucks comes with Venom formula bushings, but at 93a they´re probably too hard for you.
Go all barrels IMO, but a Elim at top(roadside) is cool too , if you want some extra stability.
As for which duro, depends how you want the ride, but 85a could suit you well. It´s ultimately up to you... Buy a bunch and experiment.

Classic venoms are barrels, correct? and I read somewhere, that some people need 3" replacement king pins to fit some venoms....Do they auto fit in paris, noting how they come with venom esque bushing already? and thanks for the reply blix!

i was about to point him into the forum...lol.

and 81-90 sounds like a winner for what you want. weight has little to do with bushing preference. i prefer 83a reflex for carving around on Bennetts, and i weight twice as much as you OP.

i mainly use reflex because i bout them during the silverfish deal last summer. i need to get some venoms soon. all i have are paris 90s.

you would want barrels for moderate DH. i find the return to be much better, and mostly use barrels. a paris kingpin will hold the venom bushings. it can hold those and the giant freak of nature reflex blooper bushings from heaven too. no need to swap it out.

    Blix, If you're still here..
Should I run different duro's boardside/roadside? Or will one duro all the way across be better? Also, how soft are the 87 a purple barrels?

    Hey I´m always here

As for the Q, it´s all about experimenting and preferences when it comes to bushings, the best thing is to buy loads of bushings and have fun finding out what you like. I´m 165lbs and like 90a barrels for a reasonably loose and fun ride.

i know they arent venoms but i love 88a sabres and i'm 185 lbs. the duro is about the same in venoms so if i were you i'd go with mid eighties somewhere, im sure 87a is good. they're cheap so if you aren't sure you could get a few sets and mess around with them.

How much different are sabre's and venoms....I was reading a thread where they were both highly liked, does it also come down to preferance?

hehe, sorry I didn't see the 93a. I'm quite spacey, pardon my overlooking! ..... so

    1. I am looking for a good wheel for the same preferances earlier, but can't choose between Otangs, or a big zig type deal. What's your guy's opinion?

    2. I was looking into Biltin bearings, is that a good choice? They seem efficient and way easier to clean. My current bearings are absolute bitches to clean..

Sweet! What factors do wheel sizes have? What I mean is what would be the difference between a 75mm lime big zig, or a 66mm lime zig zag, or even the 70mm zig zag?
