Light, Mid, Heavy, In barrel/barrel and barrel/cone.
Then also an eliminator option, but make it seperate from the barrel/barrel.
If there was an eliminator kit i think just 2 eliminators of each duro is good, 4 would be over the top. i really doubt anyone would use eliminators all around, at least not for long. That would be such a restrictive ride.

Re: WTB: Venom Bushing Kit
Personally, in regards to what kinds of kits, I'd rather just see a kit that has, quite literally, everything. I don't want to have to buy a lightweight pack if I want a carvy ride and a heavyweight pack to dial down for DH, I'd just want all of it right there in one kit.

Either that or they just like having a predetermined assortment. If you want a customizable bushing kit, buy them separate and put them in your own plastic box. That saves everyone a headache. Sure, having these specialized weight/shape/combo kits would be fantastic, but that would also mean Zak would have the headache of coming up with what.... 12 or so different kits? Maybe more? That also means shops would have to decide what and how much of each to carry. Does nobody realize how ridiculous that entire fiasco is? Think about it, the people who benefit most from bushing kits really don't have a full understanding of what they want, hence the reason they buy an assortment. Would I buy a bushing kit for myself or another who knows what they like? No, because there would be unused bushings. That's money that would have been otherwise spent on bushings I would have used. Why make someone else assemble a kit just for you just because you are all too lazy to make it yourself?
Your reasoning is good, and I agree with what you say. My reason for asking for a custom kit is kind of greedy I guess, I just want to be able to buy a bunch of bushings for a discount.. the kit doesnt have much to do with it. They're not that expensive anyway and I'd be supporting a good cause(Zak) so I think im just going to go ahead and order the bushings I want, even if the total will be like 80 bucks..
But, I still hope the Venom kit comes soon for those who can wait for it. (unlike me)

Re: WTB: Venom Bushing Kit
I support this thread! I would buy a kit in a heart beat! I think elims should def. be a part of the kit, also flat washers are a must.

Re: WTB: Venom Bushing Kit
yes! great idea the kit!
but no splitting in heavy and lightweight duros. some people (like me) like to combine soft and hard bushings in one setup. (or 1 kit for multiple boards)
yay! a spot for a sig!

I actually use double red elims on my Strike. Its feels fine. Great for DH, slow carving, and sliding.
I think a kits of the duros the sell the most would make the most sense, rather than all of the light, medium, heavy business. If you know you need heavy or light then there isn't a huge need for a kit now is there?

Yea saying anyone was a little much. Anyone i have talked to usually sticks to one eliminator per truck because, while they are stable to do restrict turning and barrels are close to them in stability and give a lot more freedom.
I personally almost always split duros anyway but i would like all 4 of each duro in a barrel kit. i dont use cones much or eliminator. If they made the barrel height eliminator i would be more interested.

Re: WTB: Venom Bushing Kit
If they did make a kit with every single bushing with every single duro of that type, that kit would be extremely expensive even if it was just one set of bushings per each each duro and bushing type. With standard prices it'd be $56 for the eliminators, $42 for the barrels, and $42 more for the supercarves, which means that the kit you wont with allll the bushings would be $148 for just one set of each. The consensus on hear has mainly been that people want a bushing kit that has more than just one set of their desired durometer. If you want to have all the bushings just buy a set of each bushing kit which will be cheaper than if you bought a set of each bushing separately. Plus doing a kit with all the bushings would end up with the same problem of wasted bushings such as the 78a of barrel and elim if you weigh too much and the 97a if you weigh too little.

Muir Skate sells "venom sacks". Comes in a light, medium, and heavy weight and comes with washers. Are these what you guys are talking about?

Re: WTB: Venom Bushing Kit
i think they should have a lightweight with the lower half
medium weight all the middle ones
and a heavy weight for the harder duro's
and then have these for all the double barrels, eliminators' regular and supercarve
