Please Zak? These would sell like hotcakes and would make many a skater VERY happy!
A venom bushing kit that had 2 of every venom or even just 2 of every venom barrel is a needed product on the market. I would gladly drop 50 to 60 bucks on an all barrel kit. Maybe a barrel kit, an eliminator kit, and a cone kit?
Post up to show how much support this product would get!
Oh man, if Chappy and Zak both made bushing boxes, that would be fookin sick.

I already have plenty of venoms in many duros, but getting the Khiro kit revolutionized my riding a few years ago. I still recommend it to people who are just getting into it.
YES! Very much interested, i was looking for one! I plan to buy Marks Reflex barrel party pack, or possibly 2 for a double barrel party pack type thing to give that much more versatility and maybe to share with some buddies

It definitely should happen, I recommend to noobs that they get the Khiro kit just because it's more convenient but I'd much rather suggest a Venom kit.

what if instead of doing a full kit they were split up into lightweight and heavyweight packs.
Lets say lightweight packs have 4 each of 78, 81, 85, 87, and 90 (20 bushings for $60?)
and the heavyweight packs have 4 each of 85, 87, 90, 93, and 97
I know anything under 85 just feels way too soft to me, and I'm sure smaller people feel the opposite about bushings much over 90a.

maybe throw in a mid, 4 x 81a, 85a, 87a, 90a
im 210 and would never use 93a or 97a, its way too stiff for my tastes, but i also would never use 78a and am iffy on 81 but would try it for a carvey setup if it came with a Barrel Kit.
An 83a would be a nice addition to the selection. 83a, 85a, 87a, 90a? sounds like my dream selection right there

the light weight and heavy weight idea is genius! the only thing that bothers me about buying a khiro kit is that there are bushings that i would never even bother putting in my board because they are so hard and i'm sure heavier riders feel the same way about orange and white khiros. id throw down 60 bucks for one for sure.

I can't stand just buying a pair, or set, of bushings. I have over ten completes, that need fresh bushings at least once a year. A four pack just doesn't cut it, I have no desire to buy ten, four packs. I want them all, now.

I like this idea. But tbh, I *probably* wouldn't get a venom kit. rather get a reflex kit.** Still though, it'd be SICK. Instead of buying like 10 different packs, just buy one kit! I had a khiro kit and it changed the way I thought of bushings.
**I prefer Reflexes and khiros for there squishness. but if I need to ride tightish trucks I throw some elims in there.

I love the heavyweight/lightweight ideas. This would be asking alot... but it would be freaking awesome if we could customize our own kit. I don't expect that to happen tho.
I would definitely buy the lightweight when i get the money.

I'm seeing a job possibility for someone.. buying a very large amount of multiple brands of bushings at wholesale.. and reselling them in semi-large amounts.. in completely custom kits.. maybe a $20 or $40 minimum order..
Could be a nice little side-business, kind of like a karrot enterprise.. or Maybe MHM could hire a neighborhood kid on an as needed basis to handle the extra hassle.. since he's already coming close to doing this..
It definitely wouldn't be big money.. you'd have to be doing it for the stoke.. but I bet it could work out to better than $10 an hour..
- 2.75" grade 8 kingpins
- Large flat washers
- Small flat washers
- Delrin pivot cups
- Precision spacers .400 and .300
- Bearing lube
- Range of barrel bushings
- Fresh axle nuts or grind king rims
Mmmmm I might make one just to have it... I've already got most of that in an old khiro bushing kit box. Very very useful, always goes with me on trips in case I find someone whose trucks need assistance, heh.

You have to understand that Silverfish isn't representative of the average skater. Many skaters don't bother to adjust their trucks, let alone change the bushings.
And to be honest, if you want it done correctly, you do it yourself.

Alright, this has been suggested a lot lately. I think it's time. Venom will make bushing kits spring of 2010. The question now, for all of you, is what would be the best structure? Should I do several kits? Maybe a Premium kit with everything plus kingpins, washers etc, and then specialty kits for each shape? A downhill kit that has barrels and eliminators only in harder duros?
Also, Venom 85a, 93a, and 97a pivot cups are in the works currently so those will of course be included. Maybe a little setup guide in each one?
